Worship Ministry

This dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter the presence of God through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering.

Guest Services – Greeting Team

This team loves people and makes them feel at home at Church Alive. They welcome guests at the door with a smile and hand out worship guides for Sunday services.

Guest Services – Ushers Team

This team helps prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

Hospitality/Events Team

This team helps host special events by serving guests with food and creating an environment of excellence.

Kids Alive – Elementary Team

This team creates an environment in our kids’ services where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games, and more.

Kids Alive – Preschool, Toddler, & Nursery Teams

These two teams lead children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities, and personal interactions.

KidCheck Team

This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Kids Alive areas and facilitates the check-in process, ensuring children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

Prayer Team

This team of trained intercessors covers the weekend and midweek services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord, praying over special prayer requests, and praying out the vision of the Church.

Production Team

This team uses creativity and technology to reach thousands by delivering the Word and worship through media, cameras, lighting, and other visual elements. The Production Team currently serves within the Worship Ministry.

Pursuit Students Team

This team builds the next generation, one dynamic worship experience, relevant small group, impactful retreat, and life changing mission trip at a time!

Pulse Group Leadership

This team hosts Pulse groups, offering a place for people to find meaningful community. Pulse group leaders host groups that encourage fellowship and discuss topics centered around what we learn during our weekend services.

Outreach Team

These teams are involved in outreach ministries with a focus on being the hands and feet of Jesus to bring God’s love to our communities and world by meeting both physical and spiritual needs. The vision is to expand into communities throughout Roanoke, helping residents learn their value and worth in the eyes of God, and helping guide them to living a life in the presence of God.

Missions Alive

With a heartbeat for people, Church Alive International has been committed to supporting worldwide missions and local community outreach since the beginning. Missions Alive oversees the global missions activities of CAI and is directed by Apostle Carey Harrell.

We partner with established ministries in:

• Central America
• India
• Mexico
• Indonesia
• Brazil

We also partner with worldwide feeding programs and international children’s ministries. Our focus is strengthening the local church in each region so they can fully establish God’s Kingdom.
