VISION
Loving God... Loving People!
Our Process: CONNECT - GROW - SERVE
Our Goal: Every Believer a Leader
OUR VISION
The vision is clear. We desire to carry out the commission Jesus Christ gave us in Matthew 28:18 - 20: "... Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..."
OUR PROCESS
CONNECT: Living Life in Community.
Connect people into the body through: friendship evangelism; Life Groups; and Men's, Women's, Marrieds', Young Adults', Youth, & Children's Network Events.
GROW: Moving to the Next Level.
Allow each person to grow personally through: the Journey (Pre-Encounter, Encounter Retreats, & Post-Encounter); involvement in Life Groups; personal relationships; and training through the School of Leaders.
SERVE: It's All About Others.
Help people discover the joy & personal fulfillment in serving others and ministering to needs thru the local church! For more information about where opportunities exist to serve at CAI, please see Ministries & Life Groups.
Please see Discipleship & Training for more information on discipleship classes, Encounter Retreats, and other opportunities involved in the process of Connect - Grow - Serve!
OUR GOAL
Why every believer a leader?
The Principle of 12. The method of Christ's ministry was to train and equip twelve men with whom He would leave the task of world evangelism. This simple yet brilliant plan continued as His initial twelve began to disciple others. We accept this same challenge for our day! For every believer to be trained and prepared to disciple twelve others and train them to become leaders themselves. As each in turn disciples twelve more, and so on, we can win our city and world for the Kingdom of God!
By now, you may be wondering how this could possibly be accomplished. Our strategy is quite simple, and following Jesus' example in His ministry here on earth, it is based entirely on building relationships. We have implemented a process for not only winning the people of our city, but also for equipping each and every one of us to become leaders.
