Steve & Sharon Smith have been involved in full-time ministry together for their entire married life (30 years), including time both on the mission field and serving here in the United States.

 

Steve & Sharon are part of Global Messenger Service, based in St. Louis, Missouri, but reaching around the globe. Steve currently travels to various countries to minister to persecuted pastors, to encourage church leaders, and to bring aid to disaster-stricken areas, such as when the tsunami rendered the people of Indonesia helpless, desperate, and heartbroken.

 

Steve & Sharon have a heart to see the leaders of the Christian world built up in faith and knowledge and equipped to effectively carry out the heart of God. Through Global Messenger Service, Steve helped spearhead a campaign to purchase numerous laptops, MP3 players, and USB drives to assist leaders in communist Vietnam, putting the resources and tools in their hands that they need not only to share the Gospel, but to train up-and-coming Vietnamese men and women to become leaders in the Kingdom of God.
