NEW BEGINNINGS PRISON MINISTRY

 

Ron & Marlene Garten have led the New Beginnings Prison Ministry for over 20 years, ministering on a regular basis at the Botetourt Correctional Center.

 

Currently, Ron & Marlene minister twice each month, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, at the center.

 

Throughout the years, Ron & Marlene have experienced mighty moves of God in the prison's small gathering room, as inmates have become broken in the presence of a gracious God. They have had the opportunity to lead numerous men in receiving Christ, rededicating their lives to Christ, and in receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

 

New Beginnings' vision is to bring hope and a future to these precious men by extending the merciful hand of God to those whom our society has shunned and forgotten. We truly believe that the power of God's Love can pierce through any boundary, and we carry that conviction into the fortified gates of the Correctional Center.
