Greeters, Ushers, Facility Operations, Transportation
We believe in the power of teamwork to make any vision, organizaiton, or operation successful. The Ministry of Helps is the "nuts and bolts" that hold everything together, and we value the commitment and excellence of each volunteer who participates in these areas of the ministry of Church Alive
Sue Lucas Head Greeter |
International.
Greeters
Our greeting team, led by Sue Lucas, will most likely be the first people you meet when you come through the doors of Church Alive International. These individuals, full of joy and love for people, welcome visitors and members alike and are available to assist with any initial questions you may have.
Phil Harrell Head Usher |
Ushers
Our ushering staff, led by Phil Harrell, is in place to assist visitors and members in a variety of ways, whether it be locating a vacant seat for them in the sanctuary or helping them find the right classroom for their children. The ushers also serve to keep overall order before, during, and after service, so that everyone can enter in and participate in the service and fellowship with minimal distractions or interruptions.
Facility Operations
As one of the most behind-the-scenes ministries in the church, Facility Operations serves to maintain an atmosphere of cleanliness and excellence on our physical property and grounds. Led by Frank Douglas, Facility Operations Manager, this ministry keeps the exterior grounds, provides janitorial and maintenance services to the building's interior, and provides oversight to setup and tear-down needs for special events. This team works tirelessly to ensure that this physical house of God is kept with the utmost diligence and excellence.
Transportation
The Transportation Ministry, overseen by Sheri Maycock, provides van transportation to the Sunday service for those who cannot find transportation on their own. Our van drivers are qualified drivers with excellent driving records. Availability may be restricted in some areas of the city depending on time and route limitations. However, if you need assistance with transportation to church, please email Sheri Maycock, and we will do everything possible to ensure you have a ride.
